Please understand that what I do is for the soul. Whether it's to see a seasoned believer come back to their first love or to see an unbeliever meet Him for the first time. As I sit here writing this I tremble before my Father in Heaven. Yes, I want to come and worship with you, jump, and laugh, cry, and soak. I believe there's a time for all and that all is permissible as long as the Spirit is behind it. But what I pray most is that if we spend any amount of time together that it would be beneficial. I've never liked the term 'worship leader.' While I'm not directly against it, I'm just not sure that I can call myself that. When I play or sing alone or with a band I like to call it my Closet on Display. I cry to the Lord for all He's done and is still doing in mine and other's lives. I pray for anointing that will break the yoke of bondage in the room I'm in. I love to speak to Him and see others do the same. While I do feel there's a place for a more organized and corporate worship where we all sing along and read pre-written songs off of a screen I've learned that that's just not what I do most of the time. I love to say we're all our own worship leader and encourage that. Spiritual rain is not like natural rain. When the water pours out of the sky in the natural everyone will inevitably be impacted. When rain falls from Heaven one may be soaked in the presence and the one standing just inches away may be dry and distracted. I love to seek His face and He's always faithful to show it to those who seek. If I do come to your event or service just know that we will seek His face together. No manipulation or religious games. We will simply seek His face together.
